Wow. I just stumbled across your website and blog. Incredible work. Though I've done a very little simple sketching before, for Christmas I was given a computer pen tablet so I've been sketching a whole lot - mostly manga style - in the last day or so which reminded me how I heard you drew a lot and thus my discovery of your site. I love the first one. The entire texture and flow of her hair are really nicely done. I would seriously consider buying that one to have framed. Very glad I came across you blog. I love drawings and paintings for all the labor that's been put into them, as apposed to say a simple photograph. Also, it's fun to be able to control every aspect of the piece of art, really pushing you to consider and analyze all the aspects that make such as a drawing evoke the emotion that it does. I was just noticing that when drawing [manga style] faces today, how amazing a tiny little curving up at the end of a line has such a huge impact on the evoked emotion. So knowing where that is needed and how to do it - well, my kudos to you.
